Poetry | When Things Collide

I am always in love
with the thought of
things colliding—

How the ocean
and the sky meets
in a landscape

How the sun
and the moon
cross through eclipses

How the leaves fall
and the flowers bloom
as seasons change

How a paint brush
runs through a canvas
with the beauty of art

How today’s hope
makes it to tomorrow
and we keep going

How our eyes
hold each other
in a curious stare

How two lips touch
with a smile
and a pulsing heart

How souls collide
in a stellar collision
and we’re finally home

I know it’s my 3rd day to post a poem, I hope you don’t mind. 🙂 I think I’m finally getting back my words—gradually. Let me know if you like this one or the other two prior to this. Your thoughts are greatly appreciated 🌻
