POETRY | ALL OF THESE PEOPLE, YET YOU STILL FEEL ALONE

All these people

Yet you still feel alone

In your jet black empty room

With a mind full of dark

Nonsensical thoughts

All these people

Yet you still feel alone

Trapped inside your own head

With different voices

Shouting all at once

All these people

Yet you still feel alone

In a world filled with lights

But nothing shines as quite as bright

As your flame of fears at night

All these people

Yet you still feel alone

They all come and go

No one bats an eyelash

No one bothers to stay

All these people

Yet you still feel alone

Silenced by your own tears

at this ungodly hour where itโ€™s eerily quiet

no one seems to hear

All these people

Yet you still feel alone

In the abyss of your own shadow

Perhaps this is oblivion

Embarking down the rabbit hole

vienna is a highly caffeinated writer who aspires to make a difference through her words; if she's not writing, she's probably reading books and fangirling over Bangtan.
