POETRY | WORDS, MY REDEMPTION

You were my solid ground

the color and the sound

You were my light—

just too bright

I screamed in fright

I wobbled when you left

pain pierced right into my chest

You saw my eyes—

filled with whys

no proper goodbye

Name I couldn’t mumble

burst like a bubble

now that it’s gone—

we are done

at the crack of dawn

I found a new foundation

an inspiration to go on

I crawled back—

as letters struck

I got back in track

vienna is a highly caffeinated writer who aspires to make a difference through her words; if she's not writing, she's probably reading books and fangirling over Bangtan.
